My own buildscripts are weeks out of date, so building a new system *before* 8.4, which I had hoped to do for the lower-level dependent perl modules pulled in for biber (e.g. I suspect there is at least one new version of one of the DateTime modules), is unlikely to happen.
But if an editor wnats to try patched llvm with system llvm for rust, don't let me stop you. But this week's updates for the released firefox-65.0 will be using the rusts I have already installed with python2. Aside: firefox-65.0b12 is so last week ;-) But in practice the changes in the first two candidates for the release are just javascript, tests and similar. Also, re Bruce's comment above about waiting for the next rust version - I think LLVM-8.0 is going to be released in March. ĸen -- thread 'main' panicked at 'giraffe', /tmp/rustc-1.32.0-src/src/test/run-fail/while-panic.rs:17:13 -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/listinfo/blfs-book FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
