OTOH - I've reinstated my troublesome Kaveri (looks as if my KVM switch might be part of the problem, although it is so slooow at compiling that it won't be retained long-term), and I think I'll update the modules from 8.3 once I've picked up the changed modules already in BLFS. The module I was thinking of is DateTime::TimeZone-2.23 which picks up version 2018i of the Olson database (same as used by glibc). Unless / until there is a 2019 timezone release, that should bring it up to date.
