Actually, now that you mention it, I'm not getting that any more
either.  I used to before I upgraded to hal 0.5.4 and GNOME 2.12.  It
worked with GNOME 2.10 and hal 0.48 I think it was.  I haven't had to
plug a USB drive into my laptop (where I have the upgraded apps) in a
while.  I'll see what happens on my desktop which I'm getting set up
from scratch without having to do upgrades.
