I see it just as you saw it when using autoreconf.
I'm gonna wait a while longer to see if anyone (DJ) responds. Can
anyone confirm that the library builds without autoreconf? I checked
the list of symbols with nm in both cases and they were the same. I
think this is just broken autotools action.
