It appears you are correct! Oh, wait a minute, my dictionary actually
says this:

per·snick·e·ty (p…r-sn¹k“¹-t¶) adj. 1.a. Overparticular about trivial
details; fastidious. b. Snobbish; pretentious. 2. Requiring strict
attention to detail; demanding. --per·snick“e·ti·ness n.

So, in actuality, you're correcting my typographical error. How
nice of you to point that out. I noticed you appear serious in
your delivery as well. Boy, you've really contributed (you can
take the "boy" as you wish, I meant it literally) to this
discussion!
