I also agree with Randy.

In general we can never trust someone to give us perfect advise, nor can we 
even trust ourselves to type properly.

If someone hands me something and says "here, this works", I need to check it 
out first, to some extent, before passing it down to the next person, because 
for better or worse I'm responsible for what I pass down... no pointing 
fingers at someone else after.

On the other hand, Agathoklis did review the bug report and the differences, 
and in this particular case it was enough.

We should not make changes that we personally do not understand, but this is 
not the case here. I think Randy is worried about the precedence here.
