When you say "KDE will no longer have a place in BLFS", I think you mean that Trinity-3.5.12 will be the 'new-kde'. I may be interested in adding Trinity to BLFS. There seems to be a good start with http://trinity.pearsoncomputing.net/wiki/bin/view/Developers/HowToBuild One of my systems is still using KDE-3.5.2.
