Patches are a nuisance to maintain, the desktop files could be created
with a cat. I prefer a cat 'cos it makes the information visible on the
page and so it's easier for people to tweak it to their needs.

The icon can be fixed by copying a png from the firefox source
to /usr/share/pixmaps
cp browser/branding/official/default256.png /usr/share/pixmaps/firefox.png
