I am still very bad in bed. But came here to reply and ask. So will write as few words as possible. Problem is not to be allowed, but organization. Makes me feel more comfortable. I intend to apply any patches and or requests you do. You know much more than I do. I think there are two groups of editor, BLFS and BLFS-systemd. I don't think you would fell comfortable if I did modifications there. I don't like and don't want a fight, but a collaboration, as we have modified already BLFS to facilitate systemd, and even before you created the branch, I was already referring to it (when was gnome branch). Therefore, am asking already one thing, please (which will divide in many things, actually). I have had wishes to change many packages but was not sure. Two that I remember now are xoerg-server (libevent, for two or three updates, I wanted to include libepoxy, but always saw it as delopment, so did not) Also Mesa, I am using myself some of the modifications you did, again, not sure if should put in the book. Xorg was maintained by Igor. I have doubts there. There are also other packages that need to be modified to follow your modifications. I also have seen new packages you introduced and we have it as external links. If we do not need them in the book because for us it is optional, I would prefer to change the link to BLFS-systemd, instead of external. Please, give us patches of those or at least open tickets, so we can eventually sync with yours. I mean not only the explicitly cited above, there are others, but I read and could not immediately do, because am sick. Finally, I wish the best for you systemd guys and congratulations. We will be much helped by your branch, as I wrote above. My differences were from some particular technical reasons, but you know that since long time I am looking forward to haveing a BLFS systemd. I have to go to bed, now, but will try to come back later today at lieast to create the tickets for updates. -- []s, Fernando -- http://lists.linuxfromscratch.org/listinfo/blfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
