Hello Fernando,

I would like to clarify a few things. Some of the additions to the
systemd branch have been made by me to accommodate the building of gnome.

I have modified the instructions for Mesa to accommodate the building of
Wayland.

As a new editor here, I am trying to fit in with how things are done.

For me personally, I think of us as all being on the same team and working
to achieve a common goal, which is to release versions of the book(s) that
give the least amount of stress/frustrations to the end user as possible.

With the changes that I have made to the configure switches for
accommodating wayland, and the changes that have been made to the pages
for systemd integration, I do not see an easy way to keep the changes
seperate.

I tried to maintain a seperate section on the same page for systemd users,
but the truth of the matter is, it really was confusing.

The additions that have been made are the minimum for a successful build
of gnome.

There are a number of additional packages that both Armin and myself have
installed that I personally wanted to add, but was told not to as they are
not for the typical user. That makes sense due to the shear volume of
packages and the work it would require to keep them maintained.

The full build everything of gnome is 245 packages. That includes their
dependencies.

On top of that there are a few other packages that are not within the
gnome environment that the gnome developers call system dependencies.

I will also be adding instructions on the systemd branch of
xorg-server-1.16.0 for wayland. The xwayland code has been merged in it
now.

Even though I am still using, at least at the moment the blfs-gnome
branch, Armin is pulling in the completed pages.

I am working as fast as I possibly can to get the gnome section complete.
I am in the middle of building it now and updating the pages as I go.

Regards,

Christopher.
