I see no reason why not. After all, no compiler rules/APIs/ABIs changed after 
that.

I do want to mention that even if something builds can happen not to work later 
on.
One example was WebKitGTK-2.8.0 - when built with 20150405 snapshot, it would
segfault at runtime when using Epiphany (trace points to webkit). It was fixed 
when
I rebuilt WebKitGTK-2.8.0 with 20150412 snapshot. So, if you happen to find out
something's not working when built with GCC, just try building it with newer
version of GCC and see if the problem goes away.

Just out of curiosity, have you built Samba? That's the only package I couldn't
build with any version of GCC5 I used (3 dev snapshots and final 5.1.0) and
I couldn't find any mention of that on the net. It appears that included Heimdal
causes the issue, but then again, building upstream heimdal went fine.
