As posted yesterday, I gave up on including JuffEd.

But this is not a closed subject. We have only terminal and *gtk* based
editors, and surely a *Qt* based editor is missing in BLFS. Thus it is a
point beyond LXQt discussion, but which fits in there as editor of choice.

What is worrying is the large and increasing number of packages in BLFS.

I will build it in my box and come back to this point, to discuss the
inclusion or not. From the images I saw, it seems to be very good.
Eventually we can also discuss if you, Doug, would like to take the
task, instead of me.

We do have the kde editor, kate which is based on qt5/kf5. That is probably a little heavier than you had in mind, but is an option.

Personally I prefer vim in a virtual terminal.
