I've just tried 3.20.6 and firefox without the patch - no button.
I do not believe this! Went back to 7.9 (gcc-5) to copy and paste
the book's mozconfig - I can't select the cat > mozconfig block to
paste it. Right-clicking lets me copy the whole page, which is
fairly catastrophic. I'm sure I managed this on a gcc-6 build.
I'm giving up for the moment.
I had a problem the other day that the X buffer did not seem to update.
The only way I was able to recover was to log out of X (I use startx) and
reenter.
