I did export all that plus XDG_DATA_DIRS as well but to no avail. The
'Control Center' continues to show a blank window and there are no icons or
applications.
Upon 'update-desktop-database' I get the reply: "No files in the search path
were updated...etc."
I do'nt know what it means.
Any fresh ideas?
I am trying the re-install of all the packages. May bring some result. Will
report back.
Meanwhile, any suggestions would be welcome.
