Thanks. I'm going to try evince first, just because if I can have a good open source package, that is my preference. Thank you for clearing up that. Out of curiousity, how did you know that it needed libstdc++.so.5? I looked at their requirements, and it didn't list them, and my searching (perhaps feedble) did not turn anything up.
