Wow. Of course you can paste into an xterm. For at least 10 years (the
furthest my gui experience goes) the ability to paste into xterm has
existed. How you can paste into a gnome terminal but not an xterm is
definitely something worth sorting out for others who have this problem
but can't fall back on another terminal.
I'm working right now on a Ubuntu system with gnome, but i can't paste
into a xterm.
Just tried it. Into gnome-terminal works however.
Maybe not related, but for the info....
