Never tried mplayer, but I believe it does. Totem (with gstreamer 0.8) does, although I don't think the support was quite as mature as others like Xine. I've not had any luck at all with Totem on gstreamer 0.10 - it plays nice open formats like MPG, and not much else. Simon.
