Why don't you use the old access to your keyboard, not evdev?
It is with the "kbd" driver (in conjuntion with "evdev" for mouse) that I have the problem with the extra-keys of the Logitech keyboard. Before using "evdev" for the mouse, the extra keys with the "kbd" driver were recognized. I just mentionned the "evdev" driver for the keyboard just to show that I tried this solution to resolve the problem of unrecognized extra-keys but as I said, there is a bug in Xorg 6.9/evdev that prevents the using of a keyboard map other than an US one.
