Thank you for the direction. I heard about this tool, and now I think is
a good time to make some research.

That's it! It helped! I didn't have.
Now I have all the icons where they should be!.
What surprised me the package hicolor-con-theme installed only some
empty directories and the index file, but it was what was missing.

I will do the strace research anyway. :-)
