I think that you should know then, that I had to install also:
vte-0.12.2 (in BLFS) - for Terminal-0.2.5.6rc1 - compile dependency,
dbus-0.94.tar.gz and dbus-glib-0.72 - compile dependency for Thunar and
xfdesktop.
It would be good to have xmlto to build api documentation (some packages
have it and some don't).
I was too impatient to install it before xfce.
And one awkward thing happened to me.
Some packages (orage, xarchiver and thunar), installed their stuff in
/usr/libexec, what is rather unusual.
I find this as unusual, because no package from (B)LFS uses this directory.
It can be changed of course, but I don't know which catalog I should
specify. Probably /usr/lib/xfce4.
The problem is that the packages have very few information about the
installation and the target directories are not uniform - they may
change from one package to another. (May be because it is rc1 stage).
So you have to study the config.logs after each package to make sure
that they will go where you want.
