Actually, there are 5 patches and all have been applied. I tried the
- --disable-mmx and --disable-mmx2 (not at the same time) but both failed
with similar errors although a different number of them. Before I do any
more --disables I think I'll try the newer package as Dan suggested. Why
bother building the package if it's gutted when I'm done. :-) You said
you have tried it. Did it work for you?
