Can you help me out. Sorry for not replying earlier. This looks like it might be hard to fix since 2.1.0 is the version of Xft supplied in XFree86. If you want, we can try to "fake" it. The version control-center is looking for comes from /usr/X11R6/lib/pkgconfig/xft.pc (or wherever you installed XFree86). Edit that file so that it says the version is 2.1.2. If things are working correctly, the output from `pkg-config --modversion xft' should say 2.1.2. This is just a fudge, and your libXft may not actually provide what control-center needs. Otherwise, you'll have to install Xorg or the new XFree86-4.7.0, which no one here has tried yet. The instructions for new XFree86 should be exactly the same, except you probably need to remove some of the commands in the Preparing the Sources section. http://www.xfree86.org/releases/rel470.html -- Dan -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
