I have all the output online here: http://users.csc.calpoly.edu/~wtracy/1420/
The full output from running lspci under Ubuntu is here: http://users.csc.calpoly.edu/~wtracy/1420/lspci.ubuntu and the Xorg log from after the driver update is here: http://users.csc.calpoly.edu/~wtracy/1420/Xorg.0.log.lfs.2 My honest best guess right now is that the Xorg driver doesn't like my kernel, at 2.6.22.5, unpatched. Random thought--I've been building Xorg under Ubuntu in a chroot. (I like having Ubuntu up and being able to work on other things while I wait for stuff to build.) Is there a chance that Xorg is doing some by magic by detecting the kernel version at build time, and is unhappy about running under a different kernel when I boot into LFS? -- William Tracy [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- [EMAIL PROTECTED] "We need a special holiday to honor the countless kind souls with unsecured networks named 'linksys'." -- Randall Munroe -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/blfs-support FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/blfs/faq.html Unsubscribe: See the above information page
