That depends. What graphics card do you have? Which dri driver are you trying to load? What options did you use to compile libdrm? Which version of libdrm did you compile? What drivers did libdrm install in $XORG_PREFIX/lib/dri? What does /var/log/Xorg.0.log have to say about dri and glx? grep "dri\|glx" /var/log/Xorg.0.log Are you using the xf86-video-ati or xf86-video-radeonhd driver?
