I'm somewhat worried about your components not being new enough.
Proper r600 and r700 support is from, I believe, linux 2.6.33 with
Mesa 7.7 and libdrm 2.4.19? Before linux 2.6.33, the support may
reside in the staging part of the kernel, but I'm not sure. Otherwise,
I wouldn't count on fast 2D accel, let alone 3D support.
