I told you that I don't use wifi on LFS. I also don't use dhcpcd. But I can google, and so can you! http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-922664-start-0.html looks to have a lot of interesting suggestions. Of course, the details of *how* to bring up the interfaces differ between distros.
