errors on at-spi2-atk is only likely to attract responses from people
who use gnome.  This problem is unrelated.

 I told you that I don't use wifi on LFS.  I also don't use dhcpcd.
But I can google, and so can you!

 http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic-t-922664-start-0.html looks to
have a lot of interesting suggestions.  Of course, the details of
*how* to bring up the interfaces differ between distros.

 I googled for:
dhcpcd no interfaces have a carrier wlan0
There are a lot of other matches, perhaps if the gentoo posts don't
help, one of the others will.
