No, I need to mount cd and a usb stick on demand at the command prompt. >BTW, 
the mount points need to exist. Yes, /media does exist, but the BLFS 
instructions suggest the 'auto' dir is created on demand so that one can access 
it, e.g. when a stick is plugged in etc. MAC
