What window manager, if any, are you using?  Generally that's built into 
a WM now.

Yes it does suggest that.  The text goes back to at least 2004 and no 
one has brought up any issues with it as I recall.  Updates since then 
generally just checked for build and general execution but testing was 
not exhaustive.  As I recall, I tested it with NFS mounts, but I don't 
use it on a regular basis.
