I *think* the problem it is solving is IAAS, Infrastructure As A
Service, where many virtual machines are deployed over huge server
farms, and service agreements require them to get up "with all speed".
The virtual machine definitions will be done a few times, used hundreds
of times.  Of course that's Red Hat's bread and butter!
