(This is the try to answer the first email. )
Good question. One line in the output says:
CPU: 0 PID: 1 Comm: swapper/0 Not tainted 4.4.2 #1
This might be the version of the kernel and LFS 7.9 is my only Linux with
such a new kernel. If it is not the version I can only say that my other
Linux systems boot.

Yes

Not between kernel config, compilation and test.
Since 7.7 I added a new ssd.

No

sata, AMD Phenom 2, chipset AMD 970, self built

Please see config-7.9-diff.
5 hard disks including the one in question are connected to the sata ports
of the AMD chipset. 2 external hard disks from which I do not boot are
connected to a separate sata controller.

My first hard disk always shows up as /dev/sda. My second hard disk shows as
/dev/sdb. The other disks arrive under changing devices.

Linux Mint 17.2 (kernel 3.16), Mint 17.3 (kernel 3.19) and Windows 7 see all
7 hard disks. Please note that Mint 17.3 boots from the ssd in question.

LFS 7.7 is command line only without additional mount operations.

Sorry to say but I do not have my LFS 7.8 any more. I only remember that it
booted without problems.

Kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on
unknown-block(8,67)

For LFS 7.7 I send .config-3.19 .
I tried to regenerate a default config but I receive Speicherzugriffsfehler
(memory error).
I have nothing from LFS 7.8.

Please see grub.cfg .

I will also provide further answers. This is everything for today,
I have a quarter past midnight now.

Thanks for your help.
