It's not in the book. It might need to be added. Systemd unit file is
installed in /lib/systemd/system/wicd.service in my case.

Wicd will put up the wireless interface, start wpa_supplicant and
dhcpcd/dhclient services on that interface and manage your wifi network
connection details like username, password, authentication settings, etc.
So, if you use a laptop (like me), and have to connect to various wifi
networks, it is easy to just save the connections with Wicd and have it
automatically connect to the best available network.
