I thought I put that in the Command Explanations. Yes, I did.
(Been there, used the original instructions, kept both the pieces).
The idea of disabling (old) openssl in qt has attractions, I might
give it a try - but the only qt progs I usually build are qupzilla
(uses qtwebengine) and vlc.
