generates an error during the root statements. Qt-5.9.1 does not build

3.) just for the records: qt-5.9.2 does not build, seems to be not
compatible with the stable 8.1 book version
The current version of Qt is 5.9.3 which was released a few days ago. I
will be looking at that in a couple of days.
