Thanks everyone!

A special thanks to Christopher for mentioning ssh-askpass needing to be
installed! I thought I had it installed but it turns out I somehow missed
adding the 'sudo' config file at the end of the installation to work with
'sudo.'

I can now open programs requiring root access and can edit settings in
GNOME-Control-Center. For some reason I still cannot get the password to
work when clicking that "unlock" button in the Users section of GNOME
Settings, but honestly the main issues I was having are now resolved and I
can edit and remove users in CLI as root. So I don't really care about that
much.

Thanks again!
