Lisa, the problem with Windows Firewall is that it can't block outgoing traffic; only incoming traffic. Even so, most incoming traffic is allowed through anyway. I can talk, however, as I use Windows Firewall, so really I, along with other Windows Firewall users, should try a more decent firewall. Does anyone know of any free ones that work with JAWS 8.0.423 demo and Windows XP Home? I have 512 MB of RAM, in case that helps. Thanks! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lisa" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: <[email protected]> Sent: Sunday, July 29, 2007 8:48 PM Subject: [Blind-Computing] How can I check to see if my windows firewall isturned on?
