O wowza! the reason I'm switching to GMail is when I do move in the next few months I don't want to have to get a new ISP email address, again! so far I'm liking GMail.
SA&G :> Sarah, most accounts require that you send e-mails using your ISP's :> SMTP :> server to prevent forged e-mails. However, as GMail has a very good :> spam :> filter they wouldn't need to put this restriction in place. I know :> what you :> mean though, as with Fastmail I have to either use their SMTP :> server, which :> is only available for paid members anyway, or my ISP's SMTP server, :> to which :> I can't remember the address. (No, I don't need help on this, :> thanks.) Hope :> that helps. :> ----- Original Message ----- :> From: "Sarah" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> :> To: <[email protected]> :> Sent: Tuesday, July 31, 2007 5:26 PM :> Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] more GMail trouble :> :> :>> Yeah I finally got it to work.I had to enable the my account :>> requires secority or something on the servers tab.
