There is a also the beta of system access to go. I've used that time and again when jaws dies.
SA&G : I'd like to point out that NVDA is still technically in beta version : 0.5 or : something to that effect. Now it will work in some areas that JAWS : will not : interestingly enough. I'm personally planning on using the thing : especially : on systems that do not have another screen reader already installed, : friends, family ETC. Also there is an ISO file available for burning : on to a : CD free for download along with the normal offering. : David Ferrin : ----- Original Message ----- : From: "Jacob Kruger" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : To: <[email protected]> : Sent: Tuesday, September 18, 2007 12:52 PM : Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Dual screenreader/magnifier software : : : You're right to make sure that all reading this list content do know : that. : : FWIW, if I remember correctly though, Thunder is free for : home/personal : use - not sure if that side of it has changed though. : : Regards : : Jacob Kruger : Blind Biker : Skype: BlindZA : : ----- Original Message ----- : From: "Chris Hallsworth" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> : To: <[email protected]> : Sent: Tuesday, September 18, 2007 3:49 PM : Subject: Re: [Blind-Computing] Dual screenreader/magnifier software : : :> Jacob, Thunder is in fact a free screen reader, and therefore :> doesn't have a :> demo mode or anything.
