Hi Folks,

I am using Jaws 7, with Windows XP home, Internet Explorer 6, and Norton
Anti-Virus 2006.

When I go to some web pages, The web pages do not load, or take a very long
time to load.

I have left a web page loading in the background, while I went to listen to
the final chapters of the latest Potter book, and when the book was
finished, it still hadn't loaded.

I'm at a loss to explain this.

On a great deal of web pages, I load them up, no problem, on some, such as
send space, the page loads up right away, on others, such as deleting
e-mails from Yahoo using web mail, the page will take a long time to load,
and in some cases, will not load unless I press the F5 key to refresh the
page.

On yet other web pages, the page doesn't load up at all.

The status bar reads opening page, then the address, followed by dot, dot,
dot.

As I said above, I have waited long periods of time, and the page will not
open.

I know the page works, as others have had success in accessing the site, but
I can't seem to access it for the life of me.

I am pasting the site address below so people can try accessing it and
report back and I can find out if it's just me or if others are having
problems with the site.

The address is:

http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htm

I'm thinking that there may be a problem with Norton's settings, or possibly
a setting with my security on Internet Explorer.

Does anyone have any idea what this may be, and how I can fix this?

Victor
