Hi Lisa. That's a weird one. I use Word too, and control+p works just fine for me. If that doesn't work for you, simply go to the file menu and find print there.
There are no buttons that you need to look for that say print or view. It's just telling you that Microsoft Word has started in print view. There are a few different views that you can use, including normal, web, reading, and print. These just change the look of Word. Web shows you the document as it would look on the web. Reading makes it easier on the eyes to be able to proof read the document. Normal shows you the document as it actually is in the word processor. Print shows you what the document will look like when you print it. I'd also be interested to know why control+p doesn't work. Hope this helps. When I am in a Microsoft word document and I hit control p nothing happens. I have Microsoft student and home edition 2007 on my computer. I have never used MS word before, so I'm learning on this new edition. When I open the word document I want to print I can hear jaws say Print, view, edit. I have tried to find those buttons, but I can't find them. I am running windows XP home edition, and I have jaws 8. If anyone can tell me how to print a document I would really appreciate it! Thanks in advance!
