I'm sure it is a perfectly fine program, and if you ask enough people you will probably receive a fairly balanced number of folks going both ways. What I suggest is try out the demo versions of both programs and see which of them does what you require of it the best. That is what I did 6.5 years ago and for my needs open book worked better. Your results may not be the same as mine though, hence forth my original recommendation.
