Hi everyone,
I just received a 1 gig usb flash drive, as a free bonus when I bought my uni
text books. On the packaging, it said it is usb 2, is plug and play, and
requires no drivers. I have never used one of these before, but think it will
be better than using floppy disks, which are far too fragile. My question is,
do I just plug this straight into one of my computer's usb ports? I know what
"plug and play" means. However, it didn't come with a usb cable, and seems too
small to take one anyway. I think one end of the drive has a wheel like thing,
so wondering which end plugs in to the usb? The packaging also said the drive
is usb 2. I have heard of this, but don't know a lot about it. My desktop is a
Dell I bought in 2003 with XP home on it. Would this system be able to run a
usb 2 device?
thanks for your help Jason
