Ok, tried both DVD Audio extracter, and cyberlink PowerDVD, and for whatever
reason neither of them seems able to rip either the full audio/video tracks
off of my DVD, and while in them I can sort of try select the correct audio
track including the narration, it doesn't work out afterwards since DVD
Audio extractor basically ripped around 4 chapters out of around 25, and
Power DVD didn't really seem to be doing much (and it's not perfectly
accessible either).

Also tried downloading something called ImTOO DVD Ripper, and it's also not
terribly useful since I couldn't seem to find a way to then select the
language I wanted even with a sighted person looking over my shoulder.

What I'd ideally like to do is in fact copy a full movie version including
narration off of the DVD, but at the very least it would be nice to at least
get just the audio version thereof off of it.

FWIW, although my normal DVD player seems somewhat buggered (can't really
play any DVD at this stage), I have in fact managed to get Windows Media
Player to in fact play the narrated version of this disk, so the problem
doesn't seem to be there, except for the fact that I still need the sighted
person to then use the mouse on some of the actual DVD menu structure since
even if I try to work through the relevant WMP menu options it doesn't
always seem to work.

Will still try at least one or two other things like maybe upgrading to a
newer version of WMP (currently have 9.0 here), or maybe try something like
RealPlayer in case it can in fact access the options, but starting to wonder
what's the point of adding an accessibility feature to a DVD movie when it
itsself is not accessible...?

Stay well
