Not sure how it happened, but go to Start|Settings|Control panel|Sounds and 
audio devices.

Then go to the sounds page, and tab til you get to the list of sounds, then 
arrow up and down til you find the relevant sound item (not sure what it'll 
be called), then tab over to where you select the actual audio file - 
they're normally just in c:\windows\media, and see which one is linked 
there.
