John If I had read this last night, I would not have upgraded. however, I installed Service Pack 3 last evening and am having no problems with Outlook 2000 or any of the other MS office 2000 applications. I have WIN XP pro here and at the office and all is working well

As soon as I did, Outlook became accessible again. Office 2000 including Word, Outlook, Excel and so on was a very popular program in its day. However, if you are running Office 2000 in your XP machine, you might want to keep the problems we had in mind.
