Hi Ryan, Well, I downloaded the latest version of Zone Alarm and installed it. However, that did not fix the problem.
Apparently after installing the latest updates from Microsoft last Tuesday, i immediately did not have access to the Internet. My son finally had the time to help me. Somehow, the network settings got wiped out and we had to go through the process of setting up the network again. I have not installed the latest update on my desktop from Microsoft and I am wondering if I will lose the Internet without installing the latest version of Zone Alarm? It will be interesting to see what happens when I do the Microsoft update before I update Zone Alarm. Incidentally, my son did install the update from Microsoft on his computer and he uses Zone Alarm. He didn't have any problems on his PC. Go figure! Again, thanks for getting me started to solve my problem. All is well that ends well. Computers! What would we do without them?
