Thanks for cluing me into this program. I love it! I've only run
into one problem with it. I recently tried to extract the audio from a .avi
file, but I received a message that the source format could not be read. I
also tried first converting the .avi file into other formats using a
suggested program by the developer, but the resulting video file had no
audio track. Do you have any suggestions? I'd love to be able to extract the
audio from some documentaries I've downloaded, so I can listen to them on my
Victor Reader Stream. BTW, I tried it with another .avi file, and it worked
fine. My hunch is that the problem is using an unsupported audio codec.

Again, one of my lately favourite pieces of software is the switch sound
file converter:

It can also convert video files into just the audio track.
