Hi John,

Thank you for your response.  Come to find out, it is a focus issue.  I 
turned everything off in the start tab in msconfig and MS Word is displaying 
correctly.  Now just figuring out what I need checked in there will be the 
fun part.  Take care.

The same thing happens to me too.
I found out if I have more then one window opened.
What I do is close the other windows,then open word.
