Is this a desktop computer or a laptop?  ?  I am not familiar with Dell model
numbers.  I had a Dell computer at work and unfortunately when it did this we
discovered it was the mother board.  Check with Dell and see if there is a
warintee for your mother board as many were recalled in the past including the
one I was using at work.
