for jaws 9 and out look 2000 i can tell you this one
You can do this also by going into my computer and then the tools menu and activating the folder options. In the folder options dialog box, go to the file types tab and from the list select the file extension for outlook and tab over to the change button. Activate the change button and select your photo editor program from the list. (If you don't have one, use Internet Explorer.) Hope this should work. ----- Original Message ----- From: "jason smith" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, December 17, 2008 12:55 PM Subject: [Blind-Computing] how do you select which program an attachment isopened with Hi list, I received some information via an attachment. However, when I enter on the attachment to open it. I get a warning that no program has been associated with this file. How do I go about choosing a program to open it with? And how do I know which program is the best choice? I think it is only a text document. So I should think MS word etc should be okay. I am using outlook express and XP home. thanks Jason Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com Visit the Blind Computing home page at: http://www.blind-computing.com Address for the list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [email protected] For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject or body of a blank message to: [email protected] Use the following address in order to contact the management team [email protected] If you wish to join the JAWS Users List send a blank email to the following address: [email protected] Visit the JAWS Users List home page at: http://www.jaws-users.com Visit the Blind Computing home page at: http://www.blind-computing.com Address for the list archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ To post to this group, send email to [email protected] To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to [email protected] For help from Mailman with your account Put the word help in the subject or body of a blank message to: [email protected] Use the following address in order to contact the management team [email protected] If you wish to join the JAWS Users List send a blank email to the following address: [email protected]
