Go to the Jaws help and go to the index (by pressing ctrl+tab) and search
for "using Jaws with windows XP".
Do the instructions in the list that you see in the help file (after
pressing enter on it and then pressing f6). It will probably solve your
problem.

How can I set up my desktop so as I
can read the icons the way normal people read: left to right, top to
bottom??
As things now stand, when the desktop comes up, jfw tells me i"m on the
twentieth-something item of thirty-some.
The arrow keys are totally ineffective.
Any help would be appreciated.
